Happy Birthday to Carter

Well its not officially his birthday yet but we had one heck of a party. He and 8 friends had a grand time at Incredible Pizza then 4 boys stayed the night. It was really alot of fun...and I have to say 4 boys were a breeze compared to girls!!

To Carter, You have grown into such a handsome young man. You are very smart and have a wonderful sense of humor. You have a very giving heart and love to make me smile. Sometimes your sisters drive you crazy (rightfully so) but you have learned to handle them well. You love to play video games, shoot the guns and hunt. You enjoy church and I love nothing more than to hear you sing in worship it just melts my heart. I love you son and your sweet spirit. I can't wait to see what the next year will bring for you!

We were all ready for the big game. Which by now we all know that Bama won!!! We all took a lot of flack for wearing all of our Bama gear that day, but it was all in fun. Roll tide Roll!

Basketball,Basketball,Basketball

Kaleigh is playing basketball for the first time this year. She is playing Upward through Oak Grove Baptist. We had a blast at her opening ceremonies last night. Wow...it was a pretty impressive ceremony. Fog, a tunnel, balloons and loud music...her kind of party.

After her ceremonies we went to BMS for Whiney's game and watched her cheer. Truthfully I am not a big fan of basketball, I would much rather watch football, but I do it for them. Carter did what he does best at the ballgames...as usual!

Back to school

Well it was an ok morning today as everyone went back to their daily routine. Carter woke up to his alarm clock, which is an absolute miracle and Kaleigh moved as slow as ever. I truly think everybody was ready to get back to there daily schedule. The afternoon landed us at Kaleigh's basketball practice and Whitney's basketball game.

The New Year

Well are all exhausted after bringing in the New Year, and for those wondering YES this is sparkling grape juice! I have plans for 2012..I plan on becoming more family focused instead of career focused. I plan to encourage my children to engage themselves in something new this year to find different interest and I plan to become even more involved in our church and I plan to begin exercising again.

Well Here it Goes

Well after watching mother after mother share their memories through blogging I have decided to join the game. I too want to capture a years worth of memories in one spot and have a wonderful place of reflection for me and my family.
